Hi! Here I am..

During the week two, I noticed that it will kind of complicated to be in two places at the same time. I am participating in this Digital Business -course and also the Liiketoimintaosaaminen -course where I coach the Freshmen students. And at least in the beginning there will be quite a lot of overlaps, but I will manage to accomplish both courses!

I think I have learned this week so many things that I don´t even recognise all those things yet. But some: Branding me. This is a strange and unfamiliar subject to me. The reason for this is, I think, I haven´t yet understod the meaning or importance of self-branding. But give me some time and I will do it. For example this kind of questions lecturer asked us to think about when we are branding ourselves: Who am I? What type of co-worker I am? How can I get people interested in me as a professional? And more difficult theme was try to tell my team members one thing which they don´t yet know about theirselves. This week´s homework was to create a pitchvideo of me. This is the first video what I have ever made, or even thought that I could do one. Anyway, here it is:

And another subject in our lecture this week was advertising in social media. I think it is true that we are making and living in the huge change of the digiworld and social media etc... My imagination isn´t wide enough to think what kind of life we are living in 20 years. But back the subject. There is nowdays a great difference when, where, how and to whom you are advertising your business or even yourself. For example those adverts, which was shown us in the lecture, got me to understand what might be a good or a not that good advertisement. How you want your message to be understood? Do you want to say it straight or do you want people figure out the message by theirselves?

One thing also occured to my mind this week. Because my calendar will be so busy the whole autumn, my new slogan will be:

What digital business??!?

My feelings at the moment

 Oh my. I feel a bit confused about this Digital Business course which I just started. In the first week I figured out that I am so lost, and out, in the digiworld. There is so much information and many apps etc. which I have no clue. Also during the firsts week I got to know my group mates, our coach Bui and tutor teacher Anna. I think we will have a great fall and projects with the team!

That´s about it what I have to say about the first week. Like I said, I am still a bit lost in this course and overall the digital world. Anyway I am looking forward the next weeks and assignments so I can blend in the digiworld and digitime. But hey, I will tell you my new learnings by end of the next week. See you!
